Fullmetal [entry]

For the "Meaningful Moments" contest for e Risembool Rangers.
Wow, I could have had all three entries be from Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood. But I decided to have a variety so...heh.
I almost decided to do the scene where Roy goes grief-stricken and almost kills Emvy, but I decided I wouldn't do it justice (not that I thought the scene was less awesome or anything).
This is from the second-to-last episode, and it made me even more teary eyed than before. Ed goes to return Al's body, but to do so he'd have to give up his Alchemy. Truth asks if he's sure, and Ed gives a few responses, but this one was my favorite. I think it really captures one of the show's themes-- alchemy's great and all, but friends to back you up and give support are....priceless.
That sounded kinda cheesy, but eh. It's true, after all. I found it very touching.
